Pain rarely stays where it starts. It changes how you move, how you sleep, how patient you are with the people you love, and how much of your life you say no to. Over time the body compensates, and one sore spot quietly becomes three.
Nerve pain can be harder still, and harder to describe. Burning, tingling, numbness, or pain that seems to travel can make an ordinary day feel like hard work. Many people spend years managing flare-ups without anyone asking why the pain keeps coming back.
In Chinese Medicine, pain is a sign that something in the body is not moving as it should. Treatment looks at why it is happening as well as where it hurts. Lasting relief comes from addressing both, and that takes more than masking it.
That is where I come in. I assess the whole picture and build a treatment plan around you, which may include acupuncture, cupping and herbal medicine. I commonly see people for back pain, neck and shoulder pain, sciatica, joint pain, migraines and headaches, and period pain. I also offer supportive care for people living with neuropathy, including tingling and numbness.
If pain has been making your world smaller, my care works comfortably alongside your GP, physio or specialist and any treatment you are already receiving.
